That's true as well - many men do the cooking these days, I guess because Mums are not stay at home as they used to be
I cook breakfast often, and once every week or two I will cook supper. We most often cook dinners separately because my wife doesn't usually eat in the afternoon and when she does it's at a different time, but dinner is light, usually soup or a sandwich. I am almost always the one who does dishes and laundry, but she does most of the cleaning, except for my office, the downstairs bathroom, and the laundry room.
Some might believe that a man's lifespan as compared to his mate a total travesty. I, on the other hand believe it to be a fantastic piece of revenge. When we, the husbands go shopping with our life mate we always spend more time trying to find our wives in a store than actual shopping. One second she's right there next to me in the vegi department and in the blink of an eye she's off and running somewhere near the bakery or meat department. I spend soooo much time wondering which way she went that shopping is out of the question. So, while I have my own hopes, when I die I know that my wife will spend the rest of hers wondering which direction I went.....
My wife will wonder in a store as well, but I simply get on the old iPhone and call her. Thing is, when we are in a casino, there is so much noise she doesn't hear the phone ring, so I have to walk around looking for her. Good exercise, but tiring as well.
