Yeh, those are close. But his were just regular ties from the front with the girls printed on the inside. He managed G.C. Murphy stores his entire career. They either carried those ties, or he came across them in vendor literature and he placed a personal order. I doubt we owned anything (other than cars) that did not come from Murphy's.
This is the same tie-rack, that was my grand-pap's. He was a teamster, in the early 1900's and loved horses. I gave it to my grand-son in Colorado.
