So Mia's had her 3rd birthday recently? That's gettin' up there (even though Mickey Mouse is coming up on a century.)
Mia rides the Blue Ridge Parkway. We took a trip to the Great Smokey Mountains last weekend. Mia tried the baby car seat. But she couldn't see out the windows. So she sat on the dashboard . She enjoyed seeing the pretty clouds. The trees beside the road were very colorful. We rode down the Blue Ridge Parkway. Mia wanted to sit on the sign. Some people had climbed over the fence to stand on some rocks. Mia thought that was foolish. If they fell, it was a long way down. Continued next post.
There were lookouts where you could stop and enjoy the view. It was cold and windy at the top. Mia said she was cold so I put her fancy fur stole on her. Mia said it made her feel glamourous like a movie star but her nose was still cold. So I put her nose warmer on her. But that tickled her nose. There was a lake in the valley. Mia wanted to have her picture made there. Mia wanted to be picked up high so that she could get a good look. We saw some people kayaking on the lake. We spent the night at The Holiday Motel in Maggie Valley. The next day we went to Cherokee. We didn't stay long at Cherokee. The summer season is over and there wasn't much to see. There was a lot of traffic on the way home. Mia enjoyed the trip but she was glad to get home. So was I.
Oh dear you are on the WRONG side of the ROAD …. I’m glad little Mia got home safe …..Wait I’ve just woken up ..I’m a Aussie it’s us who drive on the left

Hey MIA …they sun is shining here in Aussie land and Edwin wants to rekindle his contact with his one and only love MIA …. Edwin has been out in the garden inspecting my plum tree and the tomato plants this morning it’s a loverly day ( for a change ) I have every door open letting the fresh sea air in that’s how Edwin got out cause the doors have been locked for so so long due to it being so cold. Here is is inspecting my tomatoes / eggplants / capsicums for any ripe fruit I told him no no dont go in-the garden @Shirley Martin @Louise Miller but he’s so excited to see some sunshine he went outside

Mia's heart is all atwitter at the picture, Kate. Today was such a nice fall day that Mia wanted to go outside before it gets too cold to go out. So we put on her warm cozy dress that Miss @Louise Miller made. We put on the hat that Miss @Louise Miller made. Then we put on the tail warmer that Miss @Louise Miller made. Hey, don't knock it! It works. We put on her Ruby Red slippers. And went out.
I asked Mia if she wanted her nose warmer. Mia wanted to swing on Bubba's swing, rope climbing thingy. It has knots to climb on and Mia wanted to climb them. Mia was daydreaming about her sweetie across the briny sea and I was thirsty so I went into the house to get a sip of water. i To be continued.
The phone rung while I was inside and the call took longer than I expected. When I went back out, thus is what I saw. Mia was missing!!! The only things left were one Ruby Red slipper. \ And her pearl bracelet. Oh, dear, Lord! Has Mia been mousenapped????
