You sentimental slob, you. Seriously, I hope she's home and well soon. You said she's been down this path before. Has the new place she opened been stressing her out?
She is being transferred to a larger hospital in Bangor because some of the tests they want to do couldn't be done at our little regional hospital until Tuesday, or something along those lines. She seems to be doing okay but we still don't know what the trouble was. I'll be in and out of here tonight but I have to finish her hours as well as my own, as far as our directory job goes so I'll be busy with that.
I'm sure it has but, at the same time, she loves it. She also works for the Wabanaki health department part-time, but that's sort of a continuation of what they are doing at their Center, allowing her to get paid for additional training that she'd like to have anyhow. The Wabanaki sent her a beautiful floral arrangement, by the way.
So that will be a long drive for you; is the weather OK with clear roads? I hope she gets the "all clear" in Bangor.
As it turns out, they are not doing the tests until tomorrow. The drive to Bangor is tedious, as its just over sixty miles, and a drive that I have taken hundreds of times, but it is rarely a dangerous drive, even in the winter. Unless there is an active blizzard or something, they keep I-95 pretty clear, and there is almost no traffic. More than once, I have driven most of the way without any traffic coming up behind me. Then again, it helps that I drive fast, and I drive fast because it's rare to see the state police north of Bangor. Our snow is all gone. Although we still get some at night sometimes, it doesn't stay on the ground since we're having temperatures in the 50s and 60s.
@Ken Anderson , how is she feeling? Have the symptoms abated? I hope she is going to be OK. Are you at the hospital? If you are, who is looking after the cats?
