I never watch commercial programmes for that reason, though a lot of the ITV Channel 4 series/serials become available on Netflix and Amazon without adverts of course, when I will occasionally watch some.
I record absolutely everything I watch on TV Terry...then I just fast forward all through the Adverts...I can't tell you the last time I ever saw an advert for anything..
Yes Holly my daughter does that, but I don't have a TV and only watch on tablets so don't have that option
I've never watched a TV show on a tablet. Not saying I never will but it just sounds so uncomfortable.
The idea has crossed my mind a few times, Denise, more often lately. I've gone on many trips but always with children, something adult would be nice for a change.
Why do you prefer it Chrissy? Maybe mine is smaller than yours I think it's about 8x4. How do you sit with it, are you at a table? I like to stretch out on my love seat or curl up on the couch.
I had to look it up to see the size and this is the size of mine. I sit in my recliner and the iPad is on the arm of the chair. The iPad Air is the largest model currently available, with a 9.7 inch screen, whereas the iPad mini 2 sports a smaller 7.9 inch screen. Both have the same 4:3 ratio.
I've never watched TV on my Ipad Air 2... but I have watched it on the Iphone 6 while I've been sitting in the car killing time waiting for someone..
Really comes in handy I do that on my phone as well, but more so with books I'm reading. It has a Nook App on it
I have a laptop I get my Netflix on, plus I now get Eipix free with my Charter service. Netflix is worth having though because of all the tv shows I like on it. I don't usually watch on my laptop though. One HDMI cord does the trick. I just plug it into my bigscreen, well, 32 inch, and then I see all my shows on the TV. I don't get, or need cable, just use Charters Wifi. Sometimes I'll set the laptop up while I'm cooking and watch a quick episode of Frazier or something, but other than that, I just like to watch it on a larger screen.
What's LTE Chrissy? Do you have wifi with limited Data? I have it with Charter, and use all my devices with their service, including my phone when I am at home. I only get 2 gb on my phone, but using the wifi, I can make all my calls, which I usually do anyway, at home. Save the 2 gb for when I'm out and about. edited: Oops, I see what you are saying, when you are out and about I play a game, like that safari game where you match up the little tiles? I mean if I'm at the doc or something.
Sorry..what's LTE?... Yes it uses a lot of Data if you're watching tv on the iphone while out and about...but otherwise you can hook up to the nearest wi-fi network
