I love my Birks and I have very high arches; I guess I'm just used to them after 30 years or so. I have dozens of pairs and when it's cold enough, those socks are ON!!! (Fashion?? What's that?? I'm a "comfort" gal.)
I suppose my reasoning would be, if it's so cold a person needs socks, why not just wear an entire shoe?
Maybe they make Birks with better arch support than the ones I tried. My best friend loves them and thinks my sandal are ugly. She also wears socks and knows fashion better than me. My problem is I have such high arched narrow, long feet, footwear is hard to find. Maybe I will go back to my socks and sandals. I think maybe I need to roll my jeans, that was my mistake. Showing more of the socks does the trick.
Because shoes are not as comfy as a well fitting sandal, well in my experience anyway and I have 5 pair of great fitting sandals. I think maybe sock shopping is what I need to do.
Chocolate Cherry Season is officially upon us!!! Stopped in Walgreens earlier while my eyes were still dilated from the eye doctor, but managed to score two boxes of Cello's. Yeah, baby. It's ON.
I have to get all this stuff in before I go to my cardiologist appointment and life as I know it is over.
I want to share this ear-worm with everyone. "I pull my blue jeans on. I pull my old blue jeans on. Ch-ch!"
A classic. Right up there with Melanie's "I've got a brand new pair of roller skates, you've got a brand new key."
Random banter: On our anniversary, my husband sings "Still Crazy After All These Years." I wonder what he meant by that.
