@Dwight Ward Strange threads, or threads posted by strange people? To say a group of folks seem "too normal" appears to me to set up a question of oxymoronic thought. To consider pretty normal to be TOO normal implies that normal does not exist. Frank
As far as oxymoronic thought, you can't expect a cow to have a real deep mind. I'm wondering if you think I'm one of those strange people. It's okay. I'd rather be strange than be like everyone else.
@Dwight Ward Thinking of a certain person as being like one of a particular type of individual involves far deeper reflection than I am capable of. To me, everyone is pretty much the same. Frank
Random thoughts on a rainy Sunday. It occurred to me that I had no idea who the vice-presidential candidate was on the Hillary ticket. Duh. So I looked it up, saw that it was Tim Kaine of Virginia, and realized I still don't know who that is. Carry on.
Gosh, you don't know who Tim Caine is? He's famous for ..... something, isn't he?. Oh. wait. I was thinking of the WWF wrestler Kane.
Beats me. I have trouble keeping up with the politicians in Texas. Which reminds me, I had a call from Governor Abbott earlier, inviting me to a town hall meeting. What shall I wear?? Oh, never mind. It occurs to me that there is no way I'd attend that, so I can sit here in my PJs.
I recall. He was mayor of Richmond (our state capital) when that position was still appointed by the city council, then our Lt Governor, our Governor, then our U.S. Senator. After being on the losing presidential ticket, he won reelection for his senate seat. Hillary chose him. He said "Yes." Draw your own conclusion.
