Frank, I built this exact layout about 6 years ago. There were FIVE FEET between my pool table and each of the 3 surrounding walls. Look at the drawing scale: Each square represents 1 foot! I never had any cramped shots using regulation-length cues! Hal
@Hal Pollner As I see it, at the lower two corners of the table there is < 2 feet between the corner and the layout. Perhaps I don't understand your sketch. Frank
I love you work Hal. I was luck to find an HO scale train old one. I set it up for my boy and he shows it off to everyone in this country no one has ever seen an electric train. They are amazed. Children come at all ages don't we.
You see it correctly, Frank! My sketch is a perfect 1/4" =1 foot scale. The drawing scale ratio is 1:48. I have never had any trouble with any shot around the table. Hal
Hal just curious is there two tracks at the back behind the pool table. If it is one track how did you switch the current in the tracks? By your layout it is hard to tell
Hey Martin: One train ran over both tracks by entering the 2 reversing loops. The photos are from the layout I had about 7 years ago, that I'm duplicating now. Here's a diagram of the layout I'm now starting to build: Hal
