Hi Joe, I also have several pictures of the moon. I love the way it looks. A couple of months ago it was raining over here, and all of sudden we see a double rainbow, I took a picture of it, but in real life it was so bright.
It's not a good picture, this is the double rainbow we got to see after the showers, it was so bright, first time I've seen a double rainbow.
My husband is also fond of taking photos of nature including the moon and the sun. He has lots of shots of the sunrise and the sunset. He has also taken several shots of the so called red moon. Unfortunately, his camera is not that good so I always tell him to get a DSLR, those big cameras that are expensive. And that's his usual reply to me - expensive. Here is one of his moon shots taken on a cold January night. Take note of the halo that was probably created by the cold weather. He used his Canon, a point-and-shoot camera.
That's a great rainbow shot, lots brighter than mine usually come out! I've never seen a double rainbow in person, but would love to someday!
Some of these photos are downright amazing. I especially love the ones of the blood moon, the double rainbow and the gorgeous lights in the night sky over Iceland. These photos are examples of how truly beautiful the night sky or even the sky in general can actually be if we take the time to actually look at it. Again, thanks to all of you who took the time to download and share these amazing photographs with all of us.
Every night when I go outside to have a cigarette, I love staring a the sky and look at the stars. One of those night, I was staring up at the stars when all of a sudden I saw I'm guessing it was star and it exploded, it happen so fast that when I told my daughter to look up it was gone. She thinks I'm crazy because I have seen different things.
