@Harry Kemp I really enjoyed it as well, and I'm glad I watched it, because I have been meaning to price metal barrels online, but had forgotten until I saw the end of the ad. I am considering getting a burn barrel, since my paper shredder broke.
Now that sounds a very interesting way of disposing of waste paper! I was puzzled by why I was worried about the procedure and then I remembered an ex-girlfriend who insisted on destroying any confidential paperwork and we hit on burning it in a metal box. Not the brightest of ideas, I assure you! But a professionally made one should be fine. I am searching for a very funny advert that was on the television about 5 years ago. If I can find it I will post that one!
After a ridiculous amount of research I found the advert I was looking for, to me it's funny and laughably silly at the same time:
The one I hate the most, and it doesn't seem like it's going away anytime soon, is the commercial for that No-No hair removal product. The reason I hate it is that irritating vocal mess known as 'uptalking.' GAHHHHH!!!!!!
I don't know anything about the product, but the commercial makes you want to stick your fingers in your ears and go 'Lalalalalaaa!'
I pity all Americans for having to put with " Now a word from our sponsors" in the middle of a favourite programme (program). Do they still do that?
I just don't like the commercial about the family doing the Progressive Ins. commercials at all. They hardly speak about the ins. company, their services so I just don't like this type of commercial. I don't like the Progressive commercial that Flo tones down because people says she is perky...just nonsense again, but I do like the commercials that shows Progressive shows what they cover with all the cars, boats, motorcycles ...going by.
Do you mean the ads where Flo plays all of the various characters? I like those, and had to tell a friend that Flo was playing all of the parts, he wasn't aware of it. I also like the one with the parade of vehicles they cover, as well as the boat one where all of the boats have names relating to Flo. Speaking of No No, have y'all seen the competition, Yes! by Finishing Touch? http://www.amazon.com/Finishing-Touch-Yes-Hair-Remover/dp/B00PSKTVO8
Here's a Saturday Night Live spoof of one we see this time of year: everybody buys their spouse a vehicle for Christmas.
I have nothing against Progressive car insurance but those commercials * they reached the bottom of the barrel and then turned it over.
