    I just found out "fade to black" is urban slang for suicide. That couldn't be what you meant could it?

    Or the more common meaning, "the end?"

    @Nancy Hart. The one you are having trouble with centres on a form of entertainment. Fade to black has another meaning.

    Fade to black is a cinematic term for the end of a movie. In this instance I am using it figuratively. But it still pertains to the movies. I have to say I am enjoying stumping you two clever gals.
