Humphrey Bogart said: "Yep...there she is...the "Louisa"...right on time!" You won't get this...,even if Google tells you, you still won't get it. Hal
I vaguely remember that, and Louisa must have been a boat, so I'm guessing The African Queen ? Didn't Google anything. Just a wild guess.
@Nancy Hart, you're a darn good guesser! The "Louisa" was a German Gunboat patrolling an African river during WW1. Bogart and Kathryn Hepburn were plotting to sink the Louisa with a homemade Torpedo attached to their small launch "The African Queen". They were captured by the Louisa and the Captain ordered them executed, but Bogart asked the Captain if he could marry them, being the Captain of a Naval vessel. After giving their names, and completing the Ceremony, the Captain stated: "By the power vested in me by His Imperial Majesty Kaiser Wilhelm II, I pronounce you Man and Wife... proceed with the execution!" Another while waiting for @Nancy Hart to reveal hers. A film synopsis. A man becomes caretaker at an isolated hotel, hoping to cure his writer's block. He settles in along with his wife, Wendy and his young son.
Duel in the Sun (1946) Jennifer Jones (as Pearl), Walter Huston (as Jubal Crabbe, The Sinkiller), Joseph Cotten, Gregory Peck, Lionel Barrymore, among others. I always liked Walter Huston. He even sings.
Picture is awfully small. Do you get bonus points for actors' names, but not the movie? Front guy looks like George Kennedy (or could be Ward Bond). There are 7 cowboys.... The Magnificent Seven? (I never saw that movie)
You get a gold star for the movie. Guns of the Magnificent Seven. George Kennedy it is. This is the sequel to the 1960 original.
What film is this line from? "the way of the future...the way of the future...the way of the future...the way of the future..." (and on and on) Hal
