Hmm..Ms Chrissy! Your brother has an impressive education and he's obviously very comfortable teaching. I can understand why you're rightly proud of his accomplishments. I don't really detect any certain accent..but maybe it's an east coast twinge..

Thanks, Karen. Out of 4 siblings I'm the black sheep, but they still love me. :)

I just looked up my youngest sister, and found she has a book published by the University of Pittsburgh. I think it's her thesis.

My other sister only has a masters degree....then there is me, the college dropout. :)

I don't mind, I chose my path and it was still a good one.

aww..you're no black sheep...you're a bright star in your own right. You might be the most lovable in the family. we can't please everyone, Chrissy..not even our own parents...but it doesn't mean we are "less than" anyone else on this planet..we each have our gifts.

    Okay..lecture finished..but I do mean it. :)

It's true, at least in the writing department. I'm smart, not saying I wasn't. I actually have a pretty high IQ and was picked in 7th grade to be In a new program in Pittsburgh called the Scholars program. They chose 2 students from each school and we were put together in another school from 8th grade on. This continued all through high school. I was at the start of that program. Don't know if other states had it, but it did continue because my youngest sister was also in it.

I just never applied myself and wasn't ambitious.
