New portable CD/Cassette/AM-FM. Our old one was just that, "old" and would only play one track/program on a CD. The new one has a Hand Remote with it, which is nice to have. We also have a Hand Remote for our boat CD Player.
Dilly beans are just pickled beans. You will be a natural. I make mine spicey and Dave's plain with a little garlic.
I was mowing around the property and noticed all the canes reaching out to grab me. This year will be an awesome berry year. Daughter pointed out that we may still be at a loss with all the bird and chipmunk families. Long ago, my grandson came up with a great moto. Don't eat any service berries if they have stink bugs on them--even little ones. Still holds true
Another Poshmark purchase. This USA vintage made swim dress caught my eye. It looks like it was never used and my $20 offer was accepted immediately. It fits perfect. Since my senior friends have just restored their old pool and all the women wear one pieces, I thought it was time for me to blend in. This is my first one piece ever and so far I am loving it.
I ordered a new wireless keyboard. The left button is starting to flake out. I'm sticking with a Logitech model (with touchpad) that I've used for years and years. Also bought a book on The Book of Revelation. Most churches do not teach on this book. I once met a pastor from Louisiana who exclusively taught from this book and he got my curiosity up. I want to know more about it (to the extent it can be understood.) Ordered some special leg straps for catheter bags. I'm always trying to upgrade my experience.
I plan on going all digital cordless also and soon. I have 6 computers but of course I don't use them all the same time, I do run 2 at times but even then all these wires spread out on what I once thought was a good size desk is not so large after all. I downloaded a program called Mouse without borders which is free from microsoft, it really works well, you just load each computer with the program and then your main computer that you want as the primary which will have the only keyboard and mouse attached once you setup the computers you want to use. It only handles 3 so you load the program for the main machine with the keyboard and mouse and also the next one that you want to be the next computer right or left you want to switch to once both are on, then the last one which must be on the opposite side of the second computer. Once you have all three systems loaded and the program has remembered the setup you can remove the keyboards and mice from those two extra computers. You don't have to do anything in the future and can turn them off until you wish to use them. It works really great just move to the extreme right or left of each monitor to move back to the other machine you want to use the keyboard or mouse again.
I used to have one of those mechanical switched interfaces so you could share one monitor, one keyboard, and one mouse among several computers. In essence, you sat at the same workstation and switched which computer you were working on. I think they were called KVM switches...Keyboard, Video, Mouse. Old school knob-turning. Since I've stopped working, I sit on the couch to use my computer. I have that wireless keyboard/touchpad, my laptop, and a 24" Walmart tv monitor with a 'D' style video input sitting on a tv tray. As long as I'm not doing exacting graphics, the touchpad suffices.
I have one that I haven't used for years. Today they also have the digital ones. I bought a two computer USB hub that shared keyboard mouse and one monitor but it does not work well with a win 10 and win 7 setup, when you move files from one to the other the win 7 machine goes all wonky and offline. I just wrote it off and now know to just buy wireless keyboards and mice. I have two more items to buy to have the last build complete, another twin 5600X in a nice full tower. I thought about buying a mid tower but I like this strong full tower I bought two 3 years ago so much I am buying it again because it is almost at the end of it's production run. So I will have two 3600s in mid towers and two 5600Xs in full towers. Enough horse power to last me until I croak. Unless of course if I do manage to make it to 100 then I will have to buy something fast again. No where near the real fast mark but near enough to make me think I made great strides. Hardware is changing so fast I cannot keep up with it. In August I plan on buying at least 4 new external hard drives one each for my new machines. I am always needing more space and the cost is coming way down so no excuse to not move up.
I ordered a box of Skor toffee candy bars. I hope they are shipped with a cold pack because the 100-degree days have officially begun.
Toffee bars are good crushed & sprinkled over vanilla ice cream with some Amaretto drizzled over the top.
Not from the manufacturer, but from the same company we got our last (remanufactured) one from. Supposedly, and hopefully, the new one is just that, "new". It's advertised as that. Our last one was much cheaper at $199, compared to $349 for this new one.
