    I ordered some more English Breakfast Tea. Bought the 5# option...saves 40% delivered cost versus buying one pound at a time. Should last a little under a year.

    I ordered some batteries from Amazon today for a motion detector light (size D*rechargeable) and for the first time new batteries for the glass breaking monitor of my home security system.

    I buy a bunch of stuff from a medical supply house, and found that Walmart's price on those is about as cheap as I could get anywhere. Amazon's prices on medical supply stuff seem to be the one area where they are not competitive.

    Fentiman's Victorian Lemonade, Curiosity Cola, Cherry Cola (UK botanical drinks better than syrup-thick, over-carbonated USA drinks);
    Incandescent light bulbs, now illegal again in the US (Our politicians are protecting us from ourselves; I had rather be protected from *them*.);
    Tactical belt, sturdier, more stable than dress belt, for #2 son;
    Peewee Herman themed deck of cards, Christmas gift for #3 son;
    Onigiri book for #4 son.

    I never thought I'd ever order cat food online, but I just did. From Chewy. Ever since the pandemic started cat food shopping has been a nightmare.

    This cat likes Purina One chicken flavored dry cat food. Only and always. But I want her to eat at least some wet (long story). Latest she accepts grudgingly is Blue Buffalo Tastefuls Singles beef pate. Hard to find in any flavor, impossible now in beef.

    Now you can't even find the Purina dry in less than a 22 lb bag in the stores. I keep a 7 lb bag in the refrigerator, so it doesn't get rancid.

    Ordered after midnight Friday (Saturday 2 am) and it arrived this afternoon (Sunday) all the way from Pennsylvania. Amazing !

    Placed an Amazon order:
    -The book Sidetracked Home Executives: From Pigpen to Paradise recommended by @Nancy Hart (it's, uh, for a friend.)
    -The book Super Gut recommended by @Yvonne Smith
    -Lactobacillus Reuteri probiotic recommended by @Yvonne Smith
    -Some 1 pint vacuum seal bags. Looks like the long-term supplier I trust no longer sells these (or there's a supply issue), so I ordered from 2 different sources to compare quality.

    The folks here need to be put on a commission program.

    As it nearly always is with the TV ads, I think ya have to have a “But Wait” in order to get paid.
    Thus far, I haven’t seen any But Waits on the forum so maybe that’s the crucial difference between friendly recommendations and publishing selling points.

    Oh yeah, when the thing comes, either take a digital or mental picture of how ya got it out of the case.
    You’ll know why once you’ve taken it out.

    Thanks for that. I have a wireless earbud/microphone for my cell phone that I use all the time. You gotta twist, turn and orient it in just the right way to get it to fit in the case. It makes perfect sense once the thing is in there.

    I already took some screenshots from Amazon of the saw and pasted them in a Word doc to build my own User Manual (along with tips from some of the comments.) I'll include a picture of the thing in the case when I get it. I'm gonna get a cheap ketchup bottle with an attached cap to put some chain oil in and have handy when I use it.

    Good deal!
    One more thing. I’ve never had a kick back with it but since it’s a one hand machine, like a skil saw, keep that free hand a fair distance away from the saw because it might skip around a bit when you’re initializing the cut.

    Ordered Omega 3 and Butyrate supplements from Amazon.

    I saw my eye doctor yesterday and she recommended I start taking the Omega 3.
    Butyrate was discussed in the Gut Health thread.
