I just got a perfect butter dish - it's bamboo & it fits the larger "Kerrigold" butter: Comes with a cute bamboo knife.

Ordered some Teeccino flavored chicory coffees, some plain chicory coffees, prebiotics, and a bag of Brazil nuts.

We've gone full circle. Start using rags and linen napkins again.

Regarding washable toilet tissue...there are far too many health risks (e.coli) and downsides (who's gonna fish it out if you accidentally drop it?), then add in the cost of the scalding water and bleach (which will kill your septic system) required to sanitize them and it makes zero sense.

You gotta report back when you've tried them. If there were a way to use/wash/respool, I might be tempted.

Yup. 1.6 bottles to make a single sheet. It is fascinating.

I use blue shop towels for reusing. I yell at people who use them and then just throw them away.

That is what I use also, @Mary Stetler , and they make great handkerchiefs, so I use them for that also.

Those are nice & thick, but I've only used them in the garage to remove grease/oil/gas from my hands.

Um never even thought about the blue rag thing. i was intrigued by the Thought of reusable paper towels. They came in a bit ago. First there is a slight odor to them. Second the size is questionable 12x12.Um depends on your ruler. Neither of those things bother me. I do not think I will be draining bacon on them just yet, due to the odor and possible side effect
a person might have. After being washed once or twice, maybe then. I may be too cautious.
Very strong even when wet, good absorbent cloth.
I could have bought cheaper ones, and prettier ones, but never crossed my mind at the time.
I will update after using for a while. It is very hard for us to get big bulky things behind the truck seat on grocery day, so this will help there, that and my laundry sheets by mail also will give more room. I have been ordering towels on line but they are so expensive . Anyways these things should help in several ways.
