Thank you @Frank Sanoica .the lack of consumption of red meat could possibly be an issue ..No I'm not vegetarian ..but I prefer chicken to red meat ..no bleeding is evident to me it was picked up as blood detected in two of the three samples I was required to supply .I have had a colonoscopy before but that was back in 2002 according to the specialists ,nothing to it really apart from back then when I had it preformed I had to drink 3 ltrs of liquid ,in preparation however I believe you don't have to drink quite as much liquid now ..I have a quote to have the day surgery as they call it you are at the hospital just long enough have twilight sedation have the procedure then let go ASAP the cost of the hospital only is $810 ..
You take care now and get well and stay well, okay...glad to help. God heal you and keep you safe too, in the name of Jesus, amen. You're welcome in advance!
Thanks for the info @Kate Ellery , I really didn't know anything about the healthcare system you have. Also best wishes and hopefully it's something minor. My 54 yr old sister was found to be anemic recently and had tests but she hasn't gone thru menopause yet and seems she has a lot of fibroids. At first they were going to do a hysterectomy but they ended up doing nothing and just waiting and watching. Think she got some prescription iron supplement.
I was so sorry to hear about this kate, we haven't met yet I guess, but I saw your post today. I will be hoping the very best for you. I'm so glad you have a doc you can feel safe talking to, that he is trustworthy, and knows his stuff I'll be thinking of you and even say a prayer. I am not very religious, but I do hold onto my belief that God is real, and He listens. Even if I'm wrong, it certainly can't hurt to ask Him for help with these things, big hugs, denise
