Dunno, The military and the National Guard were called to the border just a couple of months ago and all they were allowed to do is aid the border patrol. No weapons, no arrests, just help the patrol manage things a little more smoothly and make their presence known.
Well, no need for the people of Jacksonville to worry about The National Guard coming in anyway. All I know is, there are plenty of new apartments going up not to far from our complex. The crime/murders here sure don't seem to be making anyone move away, except us. With new complexes going up, the anticipation of more and more people moving here is very, very high. Apparently they don't care about all of the crime, they just like the salaries Jacksonville offers. And, with the salaries being offered here, people don't have to live in the "war zone" areas of Jacksonville.
