Chrissy is a form of my real name. Some in my family call me Chrissy, mainly my sisters. Some call me Chris. My son in law and daughter in law call me Chris. All the grandsons either call me just Grandma or Grandma Chris. I dId love it when the little ones would slip and call me mom.
Tim Burr came to me in a dream. In my dream, I was standing in a forest chopping down a tree and started to yell 'Timber...!' when a voice said, " You're just an Apprentice Lumberjack, so you can't say that! I thought for a minute and then yelled, "Tree falling Down!" Just didn't have the same effect, so I swore I'd get even and use Tim Burr any chance I could.
My father named me after his first wife. Truly!!! I was nineteen before I got up the courage to ask my mother to say my name without the harsh tone she had always used. I guess she couldn’t do that, so she started calling me Honey.
I may seem to live a dull life but on the inside this is the real me. http://www.thrillingdetective.com/scott.html
OMG are you kidding me?? After his first wife?...no wonder your mum could barely say it ...poor Ina...
Welcome, @Ted Richards , whoever you are. My first name is Shirley but Martin is not my last name. I picked it because I host martins and other birds, I guess I should have chosen Shirley Bird. That has a nice ring.
Thank you all for the kind welcome. I started with Timetrvlr because that's the name I use on a number of other boards and the one I prefer. I wasn't aware that it would be a problem here so now I'm Ted Richards.
Okay, so welcome to Seniors Only, Ted! Uh...do ya mind if I call ya Ted? I mean uh, it could be Teddy or Theodore or Theo or even TR would work as well but if you're really sold on Ted then who am I to place any doubts as to who you are? After all, I'm just plain ol' Bobby which is a lot easier to spell than BOB simply because so many people mistake the first B to be the last B which is a total and undeniable mistake in spelling. There are however, a few fernerrs who use the ie version of Bobby which denotes a female which I am only vaguely sure that I am not in the course of this present day's outlook on gender. Am I rambling? Oh my, Heavens yes so do please forgive me and uh.........what was your name again?
