    @Bess Barber

....."a process or set of rules to be followed in calculations or other problem-solving operations, especially by a computer." I call it a program, having studied computers during their infancy.....

Now, yer pullin' my leg, right? If not (hard to believe), things are handled nowadays via a program, a repetitious sequence of commands, instructions, which are followed electronically to achieve the desired results.

People who use the following phrases are flat-faced jerks:

"You got a problem with that?"

    "Get a life."

    Let's hear your disliked phrases:

Yes, "organic" seems to be THE word now. I was watching a decorating show today and the host said, "I rearranged the room to make it more organic!" All i could think was so you made all the furniture out of fruits and vegetables, grown without pesticides, did you?

Mary, I've heard that word so often lately I finally had to look it up, under slang.

Going with the flow; being in an unforced mindset where the sensing of the present moment guides your every action; being smooth and natural. :p

"The two of them have an organic relationship." :D

I've always equated "organic" with dirt. When someone offered me organic coffee, my response was, "I don't want dirt in my coffee."

Funny but to me “organic” has something to do with a particular type of fertilizer that is added TO the dirt.
Thusly, when two people are having an “organic” relationship, I might think of it as a fertile one or even possibly one that is a little crappy.
An ambiguous word to say the least.

    Corporate speak:

    Reach out.
    Reach back.
Take it to the next level.
    Socialize it.

I know there's more, thankfully I'm beginning to forget them.

The word is a condensation of Al Gore rhythm. He used to play the drums, I think.
