On The Road Again

We will arrive home today after leaving the house we traveled to Sydney to sit till the end of May …it was filthy Nah no way could I stay there …..so she got some of her relatives to step in so we could escape

Here’s a prime example of the state of the house where we stayed 3 days

You should have seen the bathroom ..I spent 4 hours cleaning the toilet a d shower over the bath

That reminds me, I have to clean up the glass shelf in the fridge. Meat juice got under the frame, defrosting.
In my youth, I used to clean houses and loved a challenge. But I think I might have had gotten to be paid extra for that house.

 

Speaking of on the road again.
I was just talking to a friend who refurbished computers for people. He said he got guillome barret? syndrome from a tetnus shot. He can't breathe or see well. So he is hanging it up. (He's only 80!)
As we talked he was going to Rosendale to a meat market and then all the way to Van Dyne to a post office.
He just told me he can't see.
But it is OK. both of those towns are small so he might not get into big car accidents.

 

Yikes, Guillain-Barre Syndrome. That's not good. I don't know much about it, but I have heard of people getting it from some vaccines, but sometimes you can just get it after having a viral or bacteria infection too.

We are such fragile beings. It is a wonder any of us are alive.

 

We just got back and got the internet working. Repeated power outages while we were gone screwed up the modem and router. I shut down the computer but left the other stuff working for the house sitter.
