An enthusiastic German, otherwise known as a "rootin' Teuton".

    Your turn.....

    Do you mean Karl Lagerfeld?
I liked his self-description: I'm garrulous but I have nothing to say.

I like a bit of jest. I'm just not completely sure if I got your point in the initial post. It seems that a lot of people are referred to as a "rootin' Teuton", among them Karl Lagerfeld. That's why I mentioned him.
What/Who did you have in mind?

Thinking about it, that "Ernst" could be a play on my nick Stearn.;) I'm afraid that's all I can come up with. Incidentally, my nickname actually refers to Laurence Sterne, the writer. I just modified the surname a bit to make the reference less obvious.
