Hey Bobby, millions have been praying to their gods for peace and we are in the worst peaceless time ever.... Could be you didn't do enough praying on this peace thing.
Maybe it’s because the one guarantee that all human-kind has enjoyed since the dawn of time is free will. If you were a believer, would you rather have God control your every move or allow you to make your own way? In other words, would you rather be a slave or a free person? God did not prevent Eve from grabbing the forbidden fruit, He just told the duo not to do it but that said, they also had to endure the consequences for disobedience. And there will be wars and rumors of wars……..
All bible stories and believe less and less now on the existence of a God.... And for me, and I speak for no one else, I love my freedom to speak and do as I wish, but I would be happy to have a god help me if I was in a desperate need.
If you really mean the last sentence, and if you are indeed sincere about it, just ask God, (not a god) to reveal Himself to you in some way. It may not come with a bolt of lightning or some thunderous voice out of nowhere nor when you expect it but you will definitely know when He answers. I do remember when I asked…..whew!!
