Those bananas look large to me. Imagine, just going to a tree and picking a banana. We would be paying about $2.50 for just three.
One good beach resort is located in the province of Batangas. The Coral Beach is our favorite because it is cozy (read: small) and with selected guests because of the expensive rate. The food is European which we relish all the time. The rooms are good with complete amenities. By the way, the owner is a foreigner (either American or Australian) so the service is standard for tourists. Here's the beachfront which is wonderful in the early morning, before sunrise... In the middle of the resort is a pool and a jacuzzi where we usually relax after wading in the beach...
A place called Laiya in the province of Batangas boasts of a peaceful and quiet beach that is not crowded. It is quite isolated and also expensive that's why there is no crowd. The main attraction is the tree house that has a bathroom and air conditioning. No other amenities are there, no fridge, no tv. And since there is no tv nor radio, you can hear the sound of the waves at night. Here is the tree house that we rented and stayed in... There were lots of trees everywhere...
Our recent vacation trip was last weekend in the Anvaya Cove golf and beach club which is a high end resort. But the place is like a paradise, so clean surroundings and everything is spic and span including the plants and grasses. There were several swimming pools, one near the accommodation and another set beside the clubhouse. And food is awesome and overwhelming. I am all praises for the place except for the cost, hahahaaa. The 2 nights stay was worth more than $1,000 that included accommodation and breakfast plus all amenities. Here's the beach but unfortunately closed for swimming due to the typhoon... Here is the small swimming pool as seen from the veranda of the condo we stayed in... Enjoying the big pool with a fountain...
