Russian woman rescued a bear from a closed-down zoo and they're best buddies now.

There are a lot of photos of Russians, with bears, even kids.

Reminds me of a picture I have somewhere of my youngest who got ahold of a squeeze bottle of Hershey's chocolate. Instead of sucking on it, she looks like she dumped the whole thing on her head!
    I had strange children.
PS, did you shave as a child?

On my recent park walk, I found another friend - about 6 ft. Just look how he stares lovingly into my eyes: :D

No. He just kept hugging me for an hour.
A snake cannot express his feelings like dogs, cats or other animals, but they can be "read."
If a snake is not squirming, trying to get away, hissing, musking or biting, he's comfortable with you (like the one in the video). Besides having pet snakes as a child, I've handled 14 wild snakes & none were ever aggressive with me. Some people, however are so afraid of being bitten, they'll grab a snake behind the head, which chokes him & of course makes him feel threatened; just as a person would if he was grabbed by the throat. Of course the snake will bite defensively just as any wild animal would.
I gently picked up the one in the video near his middle, didn't restrain his movements, let him go wherever he wanted to go & you can see how calm he was. Since they have no arms or legs, they are afraid of falling, so supporting their body makes them feel secure; that's why they'll wrap around things - like the one in the video, wrapped around my arm. He didn't even want to let go when I released him.
