Thing is Frank, and anyone else that feel the same way you and Kalvin does, how would you handle an encounter by an officer today? Would you say "yes Sir" or "no Sir" to them and be totally cooperative with them?

    Just wondering.

I read the same story, BUT, would like to hear/read what the officer's on the scene say. IOW, more to this story than what we are reading. Like always.

Hopefully we'll get the whole story but the police weren't wearing a body cam.

Police have changed from the one who would walk me home when I was lost as a child to the modern military equipment who have anti bomb proof trucks to drive around in. I still love the old policeman and I think a lot of people have not seen the change happen and still remember that great guy who walk me home.

They had body cam, but they weren't turned on, for whatever reasons. I have read, not within this story, that it can be up to the officer to turn on the camera or not. Again, before blasting what happened, the entire story needs to be heard.

Yes, that's what I meant to say...wasn't turned on.

I'm not blasting anybody, just reported what I read this morning. I did say they don't know the full story.

There are: Crooked lawyers, Firemen that start fires, Boy scout/priest perverts, bad union officers, lying witnesses, false testimony, insurance cheats, tax fraud, welfare cheats, crooks in construction, bribes in government, incompetent nurses and doctors and two timing spouses.

All fair game for comments, but don't y'all dast* dare ta condemn ner question a cop's veracity no how.

But keep in mind most referenced above are primarily good citizens that obey laws and do their job as well as they can.
    God Bless 'em,'specially law enforcement.

I agree that there are bad people in all professions @Kalvin Mitnic and it's probably getting worse or we are just hearing about it more.

I have to say that my experience with police has been very limited in 66 years of life. No bad cops that I've come across personally except for the one that gave me my $385 speeding ticket 9 yrs ago. Of course I was going 13 miles over the speed limit so my fault.

In my defense...I'm an excellent driver have never even been in a fender bender since I started driving at 16. The road I was speeding on was a very empty and boring stretch of hwy 152 and I was bringing my baby Pickles home to Fresno for the first time and was anxious to get home.

That's a example of a cop doing the job he's paid to do.
