Break out the snowmobiles!!!
I’ve never seen snow @Yvonne Smith it’s way to dry here in South Australia summer and winter for snow
However the Adelaide hills has had a very light sprinkle from time to time in winter
My Christmas cactus bloomed yesterday!! It has a few more buds that are about to open. Maybe it's a "Halloween Cactus."
I received my landscape rake a couple of weeks ago, and finally got around to taking it off the pallet and setting it up.
More details in the Tractor Talk thread.
Judy had a Christmas cactus that bloomed through out the year..It died after she did.
I will do pictures later on.. but @Al Amoling . where is your shirt? You look like your advertising yourself. Nice picture um, but you need a shirt . We do not flaunt our stuff at this age
Pretty I don't thnk I've heard of one, much less seen it bloom.
Thanks, Marie. My son sent it to me a couple of years ago; I had wanted one for a while so I was thrilled. I have read that the cactus is supposed to have a few weeks of total darkness in order to bloom but it sits right in that window year-round and has bloomed three times. I read that there is also a "Thanksgiving cactus" so I'll have to see what the difference is...I think the leaves (or whatever they are called) have a different shape.
Maybe yours is afraid of the dark @Beth Gallagher ?
very pretty.. I like that
Hmmm. Now I'm thinking mine might be a "Thanksgiving Cactus" because of the pointy leaves.
U put it on and changed ny name too today
Actually I had just showered and shaved with my new razor...I'm not always concerned with dress codes when I'm at home
I like clean-shaved fellers best, nice pic @Al Amoling
