i am saddened to hear the hurt in your words...as I can relate...although i am not an educated person...i know the destruction of a wholesome chance in life and trusting relationships this type of upbringing causes..... after many years....it took having to accept totally erasing that part of life for me... something like the serenity prayer....was helpful philosophy.... i have always longed for a family..i just have to accept my life...as such it is.. i appreciate your courage to approach this difficult subject and being a praying person...i do.. for peace and kindness
The institution of family and everything that comes with it is so complex, with individuals thoughts, feelings and the ability to express appreciation, approvals and disagreements. I have seen partnerships work when people can sit down n sort out differences and not keep grudges. It is for the betterment of the human race. I hope this rat race we live in will understand the importance of this some day. All for the good of the future generation.
