It used to feel that it was that way when I was younger....but now that I'm older time just seems to be stuck on one speed always...and that one speed is always to fast!
Yes, it's true about being older and time going faster but there are days when it drags, maybe I'm still adjusting to the time difference even though it was only 2 hrs.
@Patsy Faye Ahh.....time. Einstein believed time to not really exist, it being a concept conjured up by the human mind. The big minds today claim the same event may occur simultaneously in two places, at the same instant, mind you, even if separated by a distance of many millions of miles. Pretty deep concept, for me. They call this "worm-hole" theory. If it's possible, then time is proven to be meaningless, as it would require time for an event to move from one place to another. Or something.... Frank
That's why I don't fear dying (peacefully) because it's just about time. I could have 1 year left or 35 years left but I'm still gonna die once and time is just an illusion. It's been almost a month since Christmas but it seems like only yesterday that I was in Illinois enjoying it.
Because a common nickname in Italy is "Za" and the entire country was beginning to have this strong ammonia odor......???????
Time moving quicker or slower.... As far as time moving slower as we age, that is a fairly well known mathematical axiom. Velocity is inversely proportional to age. In youth, we move faster (velocity greater) and time goes slower. Late in life, we move slower (velocity lesser) and time goes faster. Somewhere near the middle of life, the two lines on a graph would cross. The old wives tale of time moving faster when we are having fun and slower when we aren't is an "alternate fact". See above. If having fun... or not... were directly proportional to how quickly time moved we who have reached the "Golden Years" would never be grouchy or have a single bad day. Time moves quickly for us so we should always be having fun. We'd always be in a good mood. And, I ain't gonna always be in a dadgum good mood you young flat-belly imbeciles who have not one sense of commons sense and all are part of this lost and degenerate generation of uncivilized pathetic........ Woops! See! Us old folks never get agitated!
