    @Ken Anderson
    As you know, many of us here started out in a previous Seniors Forum. One of my pet peeves there was the way the Admin treated us in general; one could never have an "up-front" conversation with him, either publicly or privately. He acted like a King lording it over the subservient. My opposition to his attitude likely was a large part of the reason for getting kicked off of it. Many were re-instated; I was not.

    Just saying thank-you for your fresh and appreciated approach!

    @Ken Anderson Thanks! I was really wondering about that and which way you prefer it to go. Sometimes, even if many of the original posters participated in it, situations and opinions change. It's fun to revisit it. At our age, we may or may not even remember what we thought then. :p

    Before you start a new thread, do a search to see if we already have a thread on that topic. If you are really interested in simply making a comment rather than opening a discussion that people are likely to participate in, consider posting it in an existing thread.

    I still encourage this. If you're stuck for something to post about, click to the latter pages of a sub-forum and reintroduce an old topic. We had some good topics in 2015 and 2016, many of which were not well covered because we had so few active members at the time.

    It hasn't escaped me that some of you have been doing this, and I thank you.

    Since we've had several new members, some of which are participating in forum discussions (thank you), I'd like to resurrect this thread in order to let you know that we do not have a policy discouraging the resurrection of old threads here at the SENIORSonly Club. If you come across something that you'd like to weigh in on, even if the last post was more than six years ago, feel free to post away, just don't be surprised if the people you're replying to are no longer with us. That's okay, although not okay that they're no longer with us, but someone else may respond to your reply.

    Wait! Does that mean you believe in an afterlife?

    Hell, I'm not certain I believe in this one.

    Your weekend challenge is to resurrect a thread from 2015 with an on-topic post.

    There's no need to apologize for replying to (resurrecting) an old thread. You are encouraged to do so. I'd rather than an 8-year-old thread with hundreds of replies than dozens of threads about the same thing.
