Since we have a lot of new people, and I've seen a couple of recent apologies for bringing up an old thread, I think it's time to resurrect this one. While many other forum administrators hate it when people post to old threads, that is never a problem here. I'd much rather you post to a four-year-old thread than create a new thread for a topic that's already here. Just recognize that it's possible that some of the people you might be replying to are no longer here, and may no longer even be alive. Feel free to post to old threads. Resurrecting an old thread with a productive post helps to expose new people to some of the good discussions we've had here in the past, and continues them. There's nothing wrong with that.
