Riddles

Horizon.

 

That was a tough one. I would never have guessed it.

 

A man lives on the top floor of a hotel. When he is out with a friend or out on a rainy day, he comes back, goes to the elevator, and goes to the top floor. When he goes out alone or on a sunny day, he goes half way up and walks the rest of the way up. Why?

Precisely. I was stuck too. hint: the man is very short and he takes an elevator.

What goes into water black and comes out red?

 

A dirty Native American.

It's something we eat.

 

Only thing I can think of that changes color after being in water (boiled) is a shrimp or lobster. But they are not black to start with. More green/grey.

 

It was lobster. I have never cooked them so I only posted what the riddle said.

 

I have eaten it but never cooked them.

 

As the morning progresses I pass into my body but as I get closer to seeing the stars once more I unfurl, stretching into the nite. I'm as small as an ant, as big as a whale.. as slow as a snail, but from me you can't run or hide. What am I?
