Since the article I cited is from CNN, you may wish to play this in the background as you read.

Well, it was garbage reporting about Herman Cain’s death earlier but I guess now it’s not.
His own FB page has offered condolences to his family and friends. He died last night or so it appears.
    NOW....RIP Herman Cain.

    That's too bad.

I was never a big fan of his run for president, but the man did what he felt driven to do.

    RIP, Herman.
    Condolences to the family.

I’m not sure but just off the top of my head, wasn’t that the same year that Sharpton and Jackson ran?

I had to look to refresh my memory.

Cain ran briefly for the Republican nomination against G.W. Bush in 2000 (Bush's first bid.)
He ran again in 2012 (Obama's run for a second term) and dropped out when accused of sexual harassment (one man's creds are another man's downfall.) This campaign had some wheels to it.

Sharpton ran in 2004 against incumbent president G.W. Bush.
Jackson ran in 1984 and again in 1988.
