Thomas is quite computer savvy so I would "assume" that he would be online somewhere if he is physically able. I just hope he's doing OK and that he's still able to be home with his kitties.
I just found a military forum, and it has someone with the albums that I think is him. He was even writing about cat littler in gallon sizes. If this IS him, he was last online today; but without joining, I can’t find a way to message him and see if this is actually Tom. It would be nice to know that he is okay, even if he never comes back here. I also found some of his pictures on facebook, from friends accounts, and I sent them a message to see if they know if he is okay.
Good work, @Yvonne Smith The member you found links to Thomas' flickr page in the signatures of his posts. He joined there in March 2023 (4 months before Thomas' last appearance here), and was online there today. As other have said, we mostly care that the guy is OK. That military site is a better fit with the stuff he was posting here.
I think it nice that he is liked so well, but a bit excessive to go through so many channels to try and find someone.Seems somewhat like stalking.
It is not that we want to have his baby. We were sincerely worried about him and knew he was in a bad way at last post. Yvonne could have posted to private message but I know I would want to know her findings and she might not have known that. We promise not to go to his house.
Yeh, there's a line there. But we've sought to find the status of those who post regularly and suddenly stop (especially if they've had health issues.) Plus there are several here who communicate via PM, Facebook, etc. who keep an eye on each other and are able to keep the rest of us informed at to their status. Thomas required a little extra effort because he's not otherwise connected.
I was not stalking , @Hedi Mitchell . I didn’t look for personal information at all. Truthfully, he was so sick the last time he was on the forum, that I was afraid he had passed away, or was maybe in a nursing home somewhere and unable to get online to communicate. I have been worrying a lot about Thomas since he disappeared. When he posted something with his name on it, I looked to see if I could find an obituary of some kind, and was amazed that the search came up with a military forum and it looked like he was still active. I thought everyone else would be glad to know that Thomas was alive and well, also, and wanted to share the good news.
@Thomas Windom -- where the heck did you go? Did y'all get moved into the new place? @Bruce Andrew -- Your absence has been noted. Check in please. I need to make a list of the MIAs. I'm old and I can't keep up.
@Daniel B Cooper -- I realize that you are probably in hiding since they found the DB Cooper DNA and will be revealing your true identity, but you could come back and post some more BBQ pictures. Hope all is well.
Thank you, Don, we missed you too, we just got busy and found we were spending too much time online and losing our grandson to suicide we didn't feel very sociable.
Thanks, Don, how have you been? We've just been busy and dealing with what life throws at us. Is it still cold where you at? I was thinking of you the other day, when I saw Sarah Palen at a Take America Back protest, with Ted Nugent. I know she lives there too.
We haven't seen Sarah in quite some time, so I don't know if she still lives here or not. When her family fell apart, things changed for her. She had a beautiful house on a like here, but I don't know if she still lives here. It is still cold by most people's standards--+21 F. today when we did our bi-monthly shopping. Wife said we picked a great week+ to be gone except for the airline snafus as it was below -30 F. for most of the time we were gone, but is now above zero when we get up. At least no bugs
