I don't know. "Diversity" is so overused it's lost its meaning. One would think it increases the chances of species survival, but modern society has pretty much rendered Darwin moot. Back in the 80s, I was working for a Japanese company when PM Nakasone referred to Americans as "a mongrel race." (I forget what caused him to lash out at us that way.) My Japanese coworkers were mortified. I told them to not worry about it...the guy was right (even though he used the term out of context.)
How did I miss this thread. It's always an interesting topic. Most people admit it, others shy away. Its human nature for the living to be /feel bonded. Never found it. It always deluded me. Chemistry is so important which makes the initial pivot. Then comes compatibility, next important. Never found either. I would choose my current situation, rather than living in an unmatched relationship. At this time, peace of mind is my object. I may be losing it sometimes, but I would take it, rather than think what the next argument will be. As for finding romance on the Forum, I am not looking, but some could find it. How they do it is not for me to judge. But it's fun to see two people find happiness.
