Genetic diversity is then, a good thing?

I don't know. "Diversity" is so overused it's lost its meaning. One would think it increases the chances of species survival, but modern society has pretty much rendered Darwin moot.

Back in the 80s, I was working for a Japanese company when PM Nakasone referred to Americans as "a mongrel race." (I forget what caused him to lash out at us that way.) My Japanese coworkers were mortified. I told them to not worry about it...the guy was right (even though he used the term out of context.)

How did I miss this thread. It's always an interesting topic. Most people admit it, others shy away.
Its human nature for the living to be /feel bonded. Never found it. It always deluded me.
Chemistry is so important which makes the initial pivot. Then comes compatibility, next important. Never found either.
I would choose my current situation, rather than living in an unmatched relationship. At this time, peace of mind is my object. I may be losing it sometimes, but I would take it, rather than think what the next argument will be.
As for finding romance on the Forum, I am not looking, but some could find it. How they do it is not for me to judge. But it's fun to see two people find happiness.

Romance is where you find it.
