By the way, Winsome Sears is not a natural born US citizen. She became a citizen after she enlisted in the Marines.

It looks like he is just saying what he hears President Trump saying, to me.

One thing for sure, things are not going to boring. When are the debates going to start? Time is flying by so fast for me anyway, that it just seemed like yesterday we were lined up waiting to vote for President Trump. I was in an Oakland Airport on a 5 hour layover praying to God, when I started hearing how far ahead Trump was. By the time I was back home, Biden had "supposedly won". And so, some of the worst years in our history began. I so hope we finally see the end of this administration.

Hmm, I found this on debates, if anyone is interested. I guess we probably need a separate thread so Admins. can start a new one if we don't already have one:

I am not sure how the debates will go this time, @Denise Evans . Thus far, Biden’s people have been saying that he is not going to debate, and truthfully, I do not see how he could even manage to do that.
Kennedy has talked about debating Biden, but I doubt that will happen, and I think that the democrats will put in someone like Newsom from California and not support Kennedy.
If that happens, I think that RFK will back Trump, and we could actually see a Trump/Kennedy ticket after all.

The television debates are all slanted to favor democrats, so I am not sure that Trump will even go there anymore; but it will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

With some of the pin-head Republicans, I think Trump and RFK could be a good pair.

I get the sense that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is an honest man, and, while I disagree with some of his political issues, particularly as they pertain to wacky global warming issues, I'd rather have an honest man who I disagree with sometimes over one who says what I want to hear but doesn't intend to do anything that he promises. In DeSantis, I see someone who saw an opportunity in the popularity of Trump's positions and the attacks against him. Believing or hoping that the Democrats would be able to take Trump out successfully, he adopted a bunch of Trumpian views and has been trying to sell himself as someone who could do Trump better than Trump. However, if elected, he'll play it safe and stop short of putting himself on the political hit lists, so we'll have a lot of rhetoric and some meaningless policy theater intended only to secure reelection. I like what he says, but he wasn't always saying these things, and I don't think he means a word of it. I would be excited to vote for a Trump/RFK ticket. If DeSantis ends up on the November ballot, I'll probably vote for him if he's running against Biden or anyone else that I can think of in the Democrat Party, but if RFK is his general election opponent, I'd have to give it some thought, and it might depend on how far RFK is willing to move to the left in order to get the Socialist Democrat vote.

Is Ron DeSantis going down the tube? I haven't been watching any news at all, but I saw a Fox Business vid on youtube that was really sounding like De Santis is failing in his campaign for President? Just wondering what folks here think. Here's the video if you want to listen to Kudlow, and Kelly Ann Conway is one of his guests and I usually have a bit of faith in what she has to say. If he is falling in the people's favor I would be a little surprised as I think he's done so amazingly well as Governor of Florida but I do understand Trump's outshining him, I just thought De Santis would be doing better, not better than Trump, just with all the haters in America, I thought he'd get all their votes, or some of but who doesn't know I'm not the brightest bulb on the SOC string:D:rolleyes:o_O

Unfortunately, DeSantis is running against Trump when he should be running against Biden. He also has the backing of the Republican establishment, which makes many conservative voters and independents suspicious of him.

Yes. Thank you for the reminder. I hope she gets a more visible position even though it can't be VP.

So that brings up the question of illegals having babies born in the U.S. Are those children considered "natural born citizens"

Just for comparison to a Trump Rally, here is DeSantis rally today. No enthusiasm, either from the people or from DeSantis.
