No, it was on between 2:30 and 3:00, but may have started at 2:00. Now that I do another web search, I still see no reference to it. The host of the regular talk show program must have played it it, but that host did not come back for commentary...DeSantis just melded in to the next program.

If I am right about who will and will not vote for Trump, it doesn't matter because he'll likely lose to the dem candidate if nominated..

Writing something using two words or less is not in my DNA. That really is why I never liked twitter after I signed up and looked at the format for about 10 minutes I closed my account.

Election Betting Odds (not a poll) has Biden, if he is nominated, beating Trump in 2024. They have been much more accurate historically than polls. This is as of right now though. Things can change a lot in the time left.

I have a Facebook account but I don't use it much, mostly to stay in touch with some relatives and people I used to work with in EMS. I have a Twitter account but rarely log into it. I found out just the other day that I have an Instagram account, although I don't remember registering for that one. Probably, when I was doing affiliate marketing and SEO, I registered it.

Republicans Pushing Back On DeSantis? It is being reported that Republican Governor Chris Sununu of New Hampshire said he disagrees with Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’ culture wars strategy of targeting corporations over woke policy. As for Sununu, you mite note that Boston's Howie Carr said, "Gov. Chris Sununu is an MSNBC-CNN Republican. You could call him a RINO, but that’s become an overused pejorative, like, say, racist.” Perhaps it just got a little more difficult to label DeSantis as a swamp Republican. Perhaps not. Carr has also speculated that Sununu is also a stalking horse for DeSantis.

Both parties seem to be in a hurry to suck the nation dry before it collapses. I wouldn't expect them to support anyone who wanted to keep the American nation and culture alive.

I'm not a DeSantis fan (nor a detractor) but one of the big problems getting in the way of Republican majorities being effective is that they never want to hold anyone (other than their fellow Republicans) responsible for their actions. Woke companies adopted these policies in order to avoid the consequences of not doing so. If there are no consequences for doing so, we can expect more of it.

Reality or Anti-Trump Dissing Disinformation? From Bloomberg - Trump Searching For Perfect DeSantis Dis:

Holed up at his resort in Palm Beach, Florida, former President Donald Trump spends many mornings golfing and then, in the afternoons, plots his political comeback. Maybe he’ll shoot videos on policy proposals for his latest presidential campaign. But much of his and his team’s time is spent bemoaning his lack of coverage by Fox News and other cable networks, griping about his 2020 reelection defeat — something he’s very much not letting go — and workshopping new nicknames for his chief rival in GOP politics, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Trump, allies say, seems set on “Ron DeSanctimonious,” even though others around him don’t think it’s a bullseye. Some of the new ideas the former president’s entertained: “Ron DisHonest.” “Ron DeEstablishment.” Or even, “Tiny D.” His team has spent weeks trying to dig up dirt on DeSantis’s record as governor; his wife, Casey, a former television journalist; his year teaching at a boarding school in Georgia and his record as a member of Congress, including support for raising the US retirement age and partly privatizing Medicare as part of then-Speaker Paul Ryan’s conservative budget plan.
Whether the above is true or not, Trump's dissing of people is like handing ammunition to the progressive/socialist/liberals. The fact that he has/does attack DeSantis makes the above quite believable to those who don't engage in critical thinking. Why can't Trump's followers get him to shut up and focus his mouth on important issues?.

DeSantis' state of the state address today provided quite a contrast. I did not hear one "I" or "me". It was "we" and "they", said while pointing out others. The governor didn't disparage anybody, instead noting and explaining Florida's many successes and #1 positions.

Edit Note: I just saw an AP report that said "California Gov. Gavin Newsom won’t give a State of the State address this year."

In spite of his personality, Trump was an effective president even with the political headwind he dealt with. I would vote for him again if he got the nomination, but I hope he doesn't get it. It would just mobilize the haters to throw everything against him and certainly wouldn't pull anybody in the middle or the left into his camp. We need someone with a broader appeal like Nikki Haley or DeSantis.
