A few moments ago, I decided to brew a pot of coffee. I opened the bag of whole bean coffee and, rather than pouring the whole beans into the grinder, I poured them into my coffee cup. Oops. To be fair, though, I've done plenty of stupid things when I was younger too.
Looking for my reading glasses, they're on my head. Watching the dogs play with new toys we got them today.
I've opened a can of soup, and rather than put it into the saucepan that's sitting on the stove, I've poured it into the bowl sitting on the counter next to the saucepan...more than once. At least I didn't put the bowl on the burner.
Making coffee first thing in the morning. Call it getting old or a foggy head but coming back to retrieve a cup of freshly made coffee and finding that I didn’t turn the maker’s switch on is at best a very bad start for the day. That said, doing it two days in a row is a very bad start for the week.
Well at least I'm not alone losing some of my memory, but it really can get expensive burning up pots and pans. Best part of our day is seeing work done and behind us, now every time I go down the drive I see more new vines.
