Long haul but it's company product so I have a rigid schedule. I'm home nearly every weekend. I just run Vancouver to either Edmonton or Calgary. Two trips a week.
Great that you can be home weekends. Be safe out there. Sorry for the thread detour. Now back to "Series You Like."
Oh really, how interesting. We watched a lot of that one, almost got to know all the people in it,since its real people, even had a funeral of one of the drivers. You should check it out. Also, be safe.

That is an interesting trip in the winter. Beautiful run. I am trying to watch the series Breaking Bad. I am not sure I will even finish the first season. I also prefer movies or limited series.
We’re almost through the first season of “War of the Worlds” on Amazon Prime. It’s an adaptation of course but different enough, so far, to be interesting. French production I believe. Also, had just finished season one of “Glory” on Netflix. My wife had trouble with the first episode so I fast forwarded through the hard to watch parts. It then settled into a less violent, almost slow paced revenge plot. Korean.
You know, I forgot one show I enjoyed a lot. My wife and I have watched the entire series 3 or 4 times. We still go back and rewatch random episodes. I don’t know about your beliefs but don’t let the title and plot throw you off. The show is “Lucifer” and I did not watch it for a while because I didn’t think I would like it. It is one of the most enjoyable shows we have watched. Lucifer is exactly who he candidly says he is, to anybody that asks. It’s just that hardly anyone believes him though some do wonder. Remember, Lucifer is a fallen Angel and he finally comes to believe that his banishment, to rule over hell, has served it’s purpose and he wants to visit earth. He is totally clueless about what it means to be human. Through an odd circumstance, he becomes associated with a seemingly ordinary detective who is mysteriously immune to some of his powers. He gets fascinated/obsessed by this and finagles his way into her homicide department as a consultant so he can try to figure her out. So, anyway, the episodes involve solving some crime, usually a murder, within each episode. There is a long, slow running back story that doesn’t detract from the closure of each episode. I think if you gave it a shot, you would really enjoy it. It ran for 6 seasons, which says something for its popularity.
I am into Korean drams. My wife is having an affair this week. Graceful family. Witches diner Empress KI. Empress KI is the best series I have ever watched all 51 eps each an hour long
We do also. They have some interesting shows because of the cultural differences. Sometimes what’s going on is not so obvious compared to shows based on “western” cultures. We just finished “The Glory”, a life long revenge series. The first episode was a bit hard to watch but it mellowed out some after that. “White Nights” was also a good one about a ruthless Korean business woman. “Stranger” was another interesting one that we couldn’t figure out for quite a while and realized near the end that it was because of the aforementioned cultural differences. I believe we watched all of those on Netflix.
Although I do enjoy Asian type programs with my vision problems no way can I read plus watch, which has never been easy when I had good vision. You miss too much of the movie reading. But I'm sure it is a great series. Over the years I have enjoyed movies like South Pacific, The King and I and the one below,
Understood. I would be interested in hearing eventually what you thought about it. It’s such a different show both in theme and execution, so enjoyable. We have actually started rewatching it again.
