I registered when LBJ was president. I read about his "Great Society." My common sense told me that the government could not and should not do all the things he promised. If you give people something for free, that's how much they think it's worth. If you give them the opportunity to work and buy for themselves, they value it. So I registered Republican. I haven't changed my mind.

I have never changed my mind about religion.

 

Is it Shirley's last day now...are you finished now Shirley?
