To find the seller on Walmart, look to the far LEFT on the product page. You may have to click the box next to "Walmart" to see things only sold by them.
I just went on their website with the intent of using that coupon. There's no way I'm gonna spend $60, even if I did get a t-shirt with a crown on it.
It's stupid. I was acting as though I had a $60 gift card. I want my old, house-poor, clutter-free life back¹. I never ran into this kind of stuff because I didn't have the money to run into it. ¹This is hyperbole. I don't really wanna be that poor again.
I need suggestions on how to contact Amazon Customer Service. I think I was able to before, but don't recall how. Amazon issued me a refund for that lost diastatic malt powder, and it finally showed up today. I got an email telling me to keep it/pay for it, or return it/retain my refund. I clicked on the Return It link and was taken to my order, where it says Unreturnable." So I hit a dead end. Any ideas?
I've been on Amazon UK since 2007. After the year that was, I scraped and saved all this time. Last purchases arrived yesterday. Early birthday presents for myself and daughter. Saved over £40. I usually buy items that I can't find locally. Never buy clothing though, that's always from charity shops. Only ever lost money once in all those years. We returned the item which was inappropriate for child's age. We had to pay for return and never got reimbursed. Otherwise, it's been a good experience.
I ordered a 15 lb. bag of premium cat kibble, a case of toilet paper, a case of paper towels, and a large bag of compostable kitty litter. It was supposed to arrive in one package a couple of days ago. Instead, it arrived today, only I received two of each. The UPS driver said that both boxes had the same tracking number, so it looks like I received a gift worth more than a hundred dollars. I'll leave one of the boxes unopened for a couple of days to see if I hear anything about it, but my guess is that it's mine.
Isn't that the law... that if you receive stuff that you didn't order that it is yours for free? I need to look that up.
I understand UPS is having terrible problems since the union contract was signed. They gave all their workers huge increases in pay, then the volume of packages dropped dramatically. They are keeping people on the payroll in hopes of recovery, but "calling them off" and not paying them if they have nothing to do. It is destroying morale among the "well-paid" workers now as their budgets inflated with the pay increase, but they are not working as many hours. At least that is what I am being told. I don't know what is happening with USPS. We get pretty good service generally from the postal service, but I know that is not true everywhere.
OK, it is according to the FTC. "Companies are prohibited from mailing unordered merchandise to customers. You have the legal right to keep it as a free gift, according to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). Sellers aren't permitted to ask for payment for unordered items, either, and the FTC says consumers are under no obligation to even tell the seller about the wrongly delivered merchandise. One might imagine retailers would want the merchandise back when an honest consumer comes forward, but according to Consumerist, some have decided that taking back the item is more trouble than it's worth."
I really believe the apparent USPS problems are just phantom updates sent from a horribly overwhelmed system.
