OK here's the story on Dolly Parton and BLM

One particularly ruthless Black Lives Matter activist didn’t like what this notable white woman had done in her neck of the woods and recently showed up to destroy all that Dolly has built. Perhaps she thought the singer would be an easy target found out how wrong she was when Dolly brought hell on this racist woman trying to shut down her “Dixie Stampede.”

    Removing statues is rewriting history.
Tha Nazis tried to do it with the Jews and they almost succeded Communists have tried it too, most successfully with modern " China", which properly should be designated Greater Manchuria .
They would like to wipe Tibetans off the face of the earth too if they could get away with it.They have no more " Historical Claim " to tTibet than they have the so-called China sea.

Before we veer too far off topic ,however, what i am really trying to say is that, whether it is replacing sexist, racist ,imperialist streetnames with P.C. alternatives or removing statues it is pretending history didn't happen and when we forget the dark parts of history-that is when we are most in danger of repeating them. All Historic Revisionism is sick and degenerate . It is the Administrative equivalent of Genocide.it is burying your head in the sand to avoid confronting the real underlying problems.

When I see the destruction on monuments to Confederate soldiers, I am reminded of the destruction of these statues:

    Buddha.jpg

    Buddha 1.jpg

In Tokyo, Hokkaido University's professor emeritus of Buddhism Kotatsu Fujita said: "I cannot believe the Taliban will destroy the big Buddhas."
"Even though the statues are in Afghanistan, they are really world heritage sites now. I strongly doubt the Taliban's understandings of cultural heritage."
All Japan Buddhist Association secretary general Kijo Nishimura said the destruction "must be avoided as much as possible under any circumstances."
"Once you destroy something, you can never get it back. We have an important responsibility to leave these statues to our descendants ... ," he said.

But those ba$tards blew them up.
