Regarding preventing some of this stuff... During my COVID research, I've read some good things about using a xylitol (and/or grapefruit seed extract) nose spray. You use it 2-3 times a day, and it's supposed to prevent viruses from infecting you via the nasal passages. Some people use it when they get home from being in public to flush stuff out. Also recommended was to gargle with a mouthwash containing cetylpyridinium chloride. This seems to be a standard ingredient in the mouthwashes on the shelf at my Walmart, so it's nothing exotic or hard-to-find (I bought a Crest brand mouthwash.) This, too, is supposed to prevent viruses from getting a foothold. It's in the long list of Inactive Ingredients. I have no idea what it is.
So how are you feeling, @Ken Anderson ? Seems like I've heard of several people having severe "colds" this season, and it's not even winter yet.
Although the congestion is hanging on, I'm over everything else involved with it. In other words, I feel okay but I am coughing sometimes.
