…and Drinks & Dessert! Wait, I don't think those are drinks. They look like pineapple custard with graham cracker crust in the bottom and pineapple whipped cream on top?
With a nickname like “King Of Fruit” you bet there are plenty of reasons to love pineapples! Firstly, what we eat, or process for juice, is not a singular fruit, but a cluster of smaller parts all conjoined into one larger fruit. The resulting fleshy, characteristically yellow super food has important uses in LUSH products, as well as in our kitchens at home, too. 10 Reasons why the Eyes have it when it comes to pineapple:
I realize that I am late to the party, but I DO love pineapples, and here I am ........better late than never ! Pineapple is amazing for arthritis pain. The enzymes in raw pineapple help with the pain, as well as a natural pain killer and anti-inflammatory that the pineapple has. You do have to use the fresh raw pineapple to get any benefits from the pineapple though, all of the enzymes (which are the important part) are totally destroyed by the heat of processing. When I first read about the "pineapple fast", I had no idea if it would work, or how well it would do if it did help. Bobby was not keen on the idea of me eating nothing but pineapple for a couple of days either, but he knew that I could barely cripple around the house, and so he agreed that I could try it. It would hardly do any damage in that short of time, he agreed; it was not like I intended to live on pineapples forever. Bobby is wonderful at finding the sweetest and ripest pineapples, and he picked several nice ones for me. Ripe is critical, because even a slightly green pineapple with have your mouth hurting in no time. So, we chopped up the pineapple, and I nibbled whenever I was hungry. The first day, I thought I was going to starve; but by the next morning, I FELT better, and was walking without pain, so I continued. By the third day, I was almost dancing around the house, I felt so much better ! So, since then, when I eat wrong, and the arthritis is bad; I declare a Pineapple Day, and just eat pineapple for a day or so, until I am feeling better again. http://www.naturalhealth365.com/fresh-pineapple.html/
