I don't know what you mean by "don't show up." Are you uploading them, like an image, or do you mean that they are not included with the smilies here? Because any image in the standard image formats should show up if uploaded.
For instance if I'm posting on my iPad and select an emoji from there (Apple keyboard) it doesn't show up in the post. (Same with the Windows emojis in Win 10.) Don't waste any time with this; it's not worth the bother.
Okay, I don't understand the technical aspect of it, but smilies and emojis are not necessarily the same thing, although they serve a similar purpose. The smilies that are recognized here are GIF images that may be chosen from the list or called up by keyboard characters. While emojis are called up in such a manner also, they are coded into the operating system, whereas the forum will only recognize the ones for which I have uploaded images. Although some of these systems are similar, Android, Chrome OS, Linux, Mac, and Microsoft Windows all support emojis differently. Since a forum can be expected to be visited by people using all sorts of computers and operating systems, the ones that are recognized here have to exist here in image form. The ones that we have now are the default ones that came with the forum software so I haven't done that yet. It doesn't look particularly complicated but I have learned that this isn't always the case.

Fortunately i have boo-koo's of smileys stock up in my computer and i just use the valuable "Upload a File" thingy below to get them here.. maybe i will earn another Trophy for this info.. or perhaps maybe not ,,

Something I've been meaning to ask, and fits here, sort of... Can you reuse an image you've uploaded before? It seems like a waste of space to upload an image twice. If so how to find it without searching for your previous post. Is there a list somewhere? An example might be a favorite smiley.
The smiles and etc that come with my android have never worked on here. If that helps toward the info any.
