    The first few times I clicked on an .mp3 file posted here it seemed like nothing happened. Then I checked and it was downloading the file automatically every time I clicked. So I had multiple copies on the pc.

    Use the SEARCH thing on Windows. Type in the file name in the post (e.g., Malaguena). If the file pops up in the search window, just click on it and it will play with your default media player.

    If you don't already have a default media player, that's another story.

    Thanks, Nancy, yes it downloads without any fanfare, so after hitting the link, you should see the bar with the file name and say yes, save, but maybe some systems don't have this. Check your downloads. I wish we could embed files here, but that would cost Ken a lot of space.

    Faye,
    Thank you for sharing your music with us I really enjoyed all the songs, Malaguena is one of my favorites so it hit the spot. Seven Spanish Angels sounded familiar not sure if I ever heard it before, I wonder if was ever in a movie or something, I really like the Melody. I enjoy listening to your playing, it was beautiful.

    Coincidentally, Faye, I bought a used guitar in 1956 and began learning chords. To this day I play only chords as accompaniment to singing or to other instrumental groups.

    The only melodies I have learned over the past 65 years have been Malaguena and Ghost Riders In The Sky.

    It is a sound clip, no video and I sure wish it could be embedded as the download thing is a problem for many.

    @Faye Fox

    I've been meaning to ask you... Are you using a classical guitar, or a regular acoustic guitar? You are very good. I like the style you play. Melody plus accompaniment. More of a classical style, and much more difficult.

    Thank you, hun! It is a nylon string suitable for classical, flamenco, bosa nova, Gypsy jazz, contemporary, etc. I have 5 of them full size and one requinto and I made them all over the years. I use all fingers on both hands and mostly the flamenco style that uses the right-hand rest stroke whereas classical uses a free stroke. Also, I love tapping on it for accent and also the 4 fingers rolls which are the old flamenco style. These clips are from a few years back as my hands are stiffer now and I don't practice but a couple of hours a week. I used to practice 2 hours every morning 7 days a week and sometimes a few hours during the day. Winter 2020 before covid, I played for a classical guitar society and bombed so I just sort of gave up after that. I have been playing since I was 13.
