Only 2 of them are the same marina, (and I have more) as last year because it's very close to where my daughter lives so we always go there..but the rest are a different marina..those were taken in Cabopino Marbella...

There's many coastal resorts here in the south of England that do look very much like the hot continent.. already. Unfortunately they don't get the long months of sun the continent does, so people tend to holiday abroad, but spend short breaks here on the beautiful coasts when the weather is good ...

    Watching England v the USA..what?...lol,

@Yvonne Smith ..or anyone who knows about flowers... do you know what these are?

they were growing in large shrubs, around the golf course, and I've never seen them before so I named them Rojo.. Tubular bells..:D

I wonder how much water that golf course takes to keep it going, @Holly Saunders?

Loads, along with the hundreds of others in Spain.

It always makes us laugh, because if we get a week's worth of hot weather here, there's a Hosepipe ban...but in Southern Spain where it's arid and dry (other than the beaches)... there's never a problem with lack of water, or rationing... and the water bills are cheap too..

That said, my daughter who lives remotely in the mountains relies on the nearby reservoir for her water, and that gets bone dry for several months in the summer so she has to get water trucked in to fill her outside tanks

"Tubular bells" is close. Are you a Mike Oldfield fan?:D
I think that's the American Trumpet Creeper originally from the east of the USA, New Jersey, Michigan down to Florida and Texas. Try those in your garden. It may be a first.

The blooms look like what we call Cow-itch Vine but the leaves are different. The proper name is Trumpet Vine but only edumucated people call them that.

Malaga city centre, almost everything was closed this day because it was the holiday for San Juan... ( aside from a few small stores, and the restaurants and bars)
