This is Pixie, she's a chihuahua and she's a one woman dog.. her mummy..

These are my 3 gorgeous Labradoodle furkids.. they all adore their granny, since I looked after them from the time they were born... and always took them out to play.. The elder on the right, is very poorly and has multiple strokes, but he's not in pain and is looked after very well by my daughter. Just a year apart in age , but the 2 younger..are very active and fit and able...

Digger and stan, diving and swimming in the lagoon.... Scruffy can't manage it any more..

Your grand fur kids are all so beautiful, @Holly Saunders , and since they are getting old, it is good that you can go and visit them from time to time. I am sure that they love that as much as you do.
It is so hard to have a dog that is getting really old. My little Chipper is old now, too, and he also sleeps constantly, only waking up for food and bathroom necessities. He is blind and mostly deaf, and sometimes has spells where he just shakes; but he does not seem like he is in pain, and he is still a happy little fellow.
Some days, when he is having a hard time coping, I think that I will have to have him put to sleep, and the thought just breaks my heart.

I know what you mean with regard to little chipper and your thoughts of PTS @Yvonne, many times when Scruffy has had another stroke or he's staggering and not really aware of his surroundings, my daughter think that this is it..he won't come through it, but he does, and is weaker each time, but still he's not in pain, and as you say, it breaks her heart to think that the time will come soon for both him, minky and zeus!!

May chipper live as long as he is comfortable, bless his little paws

Thank you to everyone who has ''liked'' my pictures, you're all very kind!!:D
