I am SO sorry to hear this, and it is always heartbreaking, even when we know it is going to happen sooner or later. It is good that you got Delilah when you did, and hopefully, she will be a comfort to you and your husband. Sending you hugs and prayers, @Hedi Mitchell , for God to give you his comfort as well.
