Ok after Beth's remark below I don't know if CNN really said this or not! I hate it when it's so easy for people to mess with my head
If he chooses that as a running mate I will not be voting this time. I'm finally out. I've had to shiver each time I think of who's sitting in the catbird seat with Biden. (And what is a catbird seat anyhow??)
I doubt he'll choose her. Generally, the Party and not the candidate choose who will give the response to the State of the Union, largely because a candidate is usually not made obvious this early in the primary campaign. For reasons that are not in the interests of those of us who generally vote Republican, the Party has traditionally chosen to elevate the most liberal members of the Party.
Surely he wouldn't choose her, how creepy she is. Makes me wonder if others didn't listen to that video to the end
Ed, I disagree. Nothing wrong with being rich, none of us would survive without income and most of that income is from business owned by the rich. I can't think of a time when I made money from a poor person. Teachers and other DOE employees are always asking for more money. I guess that includes you? I do agree some will go too far like some of the welfare who don't like to work, but do like money I wish I was rich, but I wasn't, so I worked for the rich at times like Jake has always done. Since you brought Trump up without actually mentioning his name, do you vote and are they poor.
Democrats like to expound on their love of the poor, and they might be sincere in that because they do everything possible to create as many poor people as they can while doing the bidding of the wealthy elite.
This is true, instead of spending money on illegal's breaking into out nation we should be spending it on more courts and prisons until we get our civil society back. I still don't understand why Trump didn't call in N.G. to all the ANIFA and BLM looters. Guess he was too busy defending himself against demo mafias.
Here's some news: Tearful Ronna McDaniel hands RNC reins over to Lara Trump, Michael Whatley at Houston ‘coronation’ https://nypost.com/2024/03/08/us-ne...-trump-michael-whatley-at-houston-coronation/ That's different.
That's "good" news, thank you @Jenna Parnellson, I believe Lara Trump will do an excellent job, although I admit I don't know a lot about the work she's done already, but I will be very hopeful of her in her new position
That's interesting, and obviously, they're not shy to reveal the kookiest either which this "inquiring" mind wants, and needs, to know
I obviously like the expression because I do use it a lot to describe high positions. Actually, it comes from the nesting position that the “Grey Catbird” makes. It’s more secluded and higher than other nests that birds build. Back to SOTU. The only thing the left is really pouncing all over is the one single truth that Biden spoke about which is that he said ‘Illegal” in reference to the aliens swarming into this country. Other than that, there was literally nothing he said that was pro taxpaying citizen of the United States. *I know, he said that the wealthy should pay more taxes but I’m waiting to find out if Biden and Hunter have paid their “fair share” before I nod my head*
Because Constitutionally it's a local/state issue. Remember Katrina? President Bush called the governor of Louisiana over and over and over as the hurricane was approaching, telling her that FEMA needed to get in there NOW to help evacuate. But the Federal government cannot go in to the states unless invited by the governor. The governor repeatedly told him to keep the Fed out of the state. Then when poop hit the fan and all those Louisiana lives were lost, the media blamed the president and said nothing about who was truly accountable. They wanted Bush to do the moral thing while violating the Constitution so that from now own, Democrat presidents can also invade states when they "believe" that it's necessary. And they were playing the same cynical destructive game with Trump and the riots. These people play with our lives to destroy this nation.
